I have known Dr. Thomet for several years now. I had bilateral breast cancer and the HUG said I should have a double mastectomy. Working with Dr. Patrick Dumps, Dr. Thomet performed a tailor-made surgery that allowed me to keep both breasts and get the best possible aesthetic result. Three years later, Dr. Thomet performed reconstructive surgery to out an umbilical nipple that had stayed permanently inverted following the cancer surgery, and also to use lipofilling to compensate for a deep hollow near the breastbone, where I had had two surgeries to remove a tumour. I would never have had the courage to have this surgery (which I very much wanted) if I hadn't had 100 per cent faith in Dr. Thomet. The result is the best possible in the circumstances. I am very grateful.
